Edifier Stax Spirit S3 Wireless Planar Magnetic Headphones with Hi-Res Audio, 80-Hour Battery, and Snapdragon Sound

I've owned planar headphones before and nothing under $300 came close to these. The S3's have this effortless, fast bass and detail in the mids that dynamic drivers just can't match. Battery goes weeks between charges. At this sale price it's an absolute steal.

Honestly shocked by the battery life. Used them on and off for about three weeks before plugging them in. Sound is clean and detailed, pairing with Snapdragon Sound on my phone is instant and stable.

Very comfortable even after 6+ hours at my desk. Hi-Res audio is no joke — vocals sound like the singer is in the room. Only minor gripe is the earpads get a little warm in summer, but that's typical for this style.

The audio quality is genuinely excellent for wireless — planar magnetic detail really comes through. My complaints: the companion app is clunky and the ANC is just okay compared to Bose. For critical listening they're fantastic, for commuting they're fine.

Been in this hobby 20 years and I've owned my share of cans. The S3 gives you maybe 80% of a high-end wired planar experience with the convenience of wireless. Detail retrieval on acoustic tracks is superb and the tuning is neutral with just enough bass. Battery life is genuinely absurd. For the sale price I paid, this is the value pick of the year.

Sound quality is good, but the headband presses on the top of my head after an hour and I have to keep readjusting. I have a larger head, so maybe that's the issue. Battery and Bluetooth are solid though. Wish they fit better.
