Edifier T5 Powered Subwoofer with 8-Inch Long-Throw Woofer, 70W RMS Class-D Amp, and 38Hz Bass

Paired it with my Edifier bookshelf speakers and the whole system finally sounds complete. The 38Hz extension is real — movie explosions and bass guitar have real weight now. Crossover adjustment was easy to dial in. Couldn't be happier for under $100.

Added this to fill out the low end in my living room. Tight, musical bass that doesn't boom or overpower. Build quality feels way above the price point.

Nice punchy bass for music and it handles 38Hz without strain in a small-to-medium room. It's a bit bigger than I expected, so measure your space first. Amp has plenty of headroom at 70W RMS. Would buy again.

Works well in my den but struggles to fill my open-concept living area at higher volumes. The long-throw 8-inch woofer does its job, but if you have a large space you'll probably want a 10-inch or bigger. Sound quality itself is clean and there's no port chuffing.

I set this up with my TV and soundbar setup over the weekend and the difference is night and day. Footsteps, rumble, and low frequency effects all have real presence. The Class-D amp stays quiet when idle, no hum at all. My wife even commented on how much better everything sounds. Best upgrade I've made in years, honestly.

Replaced a more expensive sub with this and honestly can't tell much difference in my room. Edifier nailed the tuning. No complaints whatsoever.

Bass performance is good when it's playing, but mine produces a faint hum at idle that's noticeable in a quiet room. Tried different outlets and grounding but it persists. Sound itself is fine when music is going.
