Edifier D12 Bluetooth Stereo Speaker with 70W RMS, Silk Dome Tweeters, 4" Wool Mid-Bass Drivers, Wooden Enclosure and Remote Control

Didn't want a subwoofer and cables all over my living room. The D12 fills the whole space with 70W of warm, detailed sound from a single wooden cabinet. The wool mid-bass drivers give vocals a texture I've only heard from much pricier gear. Remote works from across the room. Absolutely delighted.

This thing is gorgeous. Real wood, fabric grille, and the silk dome tweeters are smooth as butter. Jazz and acoustic records sound like the band is in the room.

Sound is excellent — rich, full, and way more powerful than the size suggests. My quibbles: the bass can slightly overpower at very high volumes, and the display is dim in bright rooms. Otherwise this replaced a soundbar plus subwoofer combo and I don't miss either.

Out of the box the low end was too heavy for my taste. Tucked it into a bookshelf corner and it calmed down considerably. Mids and highs are genuinely lovely. Placement matters a lot with this one.

I'm 58 and this replaced the old boombox on my counter. Streams from my phone effortlessly, the remote has big readable buttons, and podcasts come through crystal clear. My son helped set it up in five minutes. Best upgrade I've made in years.

The D12 does the impossible — deep enough bass without a sub, thanks to those wool drivers and the wooden enclosure. RCA input feeds my turntable and it sounds warm and inviting. Bluetooth for everyday streaming is quick and stable. Only wish it had optical for the TV.

Sold the soundbar. This sounds better. Done.

70W in a compact wooden box with real tweeters — the value is nuts. Great for apartments where a full 2.1 setup is overkill. AUX and RCA inputs make it flexible. Shipping was fast and packaging was excellent.

The sound when wired is lovely, but the Bluetooth connection drops every 20 minutes or so from my phone, which sits ten feet away. Firmware seems fine, tried re-pairing multiple times. Might be a defective unit but frustrating nonetheless. Considering an exchange.

Every Saturday morning I put on a record via the RCA input and let the D12 do its thing. The silk dome tweeters never get fatiguing, even after hours. It looks like a piece of furniture, which my wife appreciates. This is how you make an all-in-one speaker.
